make a direct booking, access a booking engine powered by Smoobu, pay for a booking or service by bank transfer, Stripe or PayPal, access welcome brochures and shops via Showplace, view or post reviews via Google or Airbnb, and access the official Instagram account of Domaine des Lameries.

Domaine des Lameries endeavours to provide information on the Website that is as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held liable for omissions, inaccuracies, errors, discrepancies in availability, differences in prices or failure to update information, whether caused by itself or by third-party partners providing such information.

All information provided on the Website is for guidance only and is subject to change. The information appearing on the Website is not exhaustive. It is subject to any changes that may have been made since it was published online.

The definitive contractual terms are those confirmed at the time of booking, in written correspondence with the Domaine des Lameries, in the invoices issued, or in the general terms and conditions of sale applicable at the time of the booking.

4. Bookings, payments and additional services

The Website may offer access to a booking engine powered by the Smoobu platform. Bookings made via the Website or via a tool linked to the Website may involve the collection and processing of personal data necessary for managing the stay, invoicing, customer follow-up and compliance with legal obligations.

Payments may be made by bank transfer, via Stripe or via PayPal. When a payment is made via Stripe or PayPal, the user is redirected to or logged into the secure environment of the relevant service provider. Domaine des Lameries does not store the user’s full credit card details.

Welcome booklets and shops offering additional services may be managed via Showplace. In this context, certain data necessary for accessing the booklet, managing the shop or ordering services may be processed by Showplace in its capacity as a technical service provider.

Detailed terms and conditions relating to bookings, payments, cancellations, refunds, any deposits, visitors’ tax, arrival and departure times, additional services and travellers’ liabilities are set out in Domaine des Lameries’ General Terms and Conditions of Sale, available on the Website or provided to the customer at the time of booking.

5. Contractual limitations regarding technical data

The website uses, amongst other things, web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as third-party services necessary for its operation, security, booking, payment, statistics or the display of external content.

The website cannot be held liable for any material damage arising from its use. Users of the website undertake to access the website using up-to-date, virus-free hardware and an up-to-date browser.

The website is hosted by OVH SAS, a service provider located within the European Union, subject to any third-party services that may be used and which may involve data processing or transfers governed by the applicable regulations.

The aim is to provide a service ensuring the best possible level of accessibility. The hosting provider ensures the continuity of its service in accordance with the terms set out in its own contractual commitments. It reserves the right, however, to interrupt the hosting service for the shortest possible periods, in particular for maintenance purposes, to improve its infrastructure, in the event of infrastructure failure or in the event of traffic deemed to be abnormal.

Neither Domaine des Lameries nor the hosting provider shall be held liable in the event of a malfunction of the Internet, telephone lines, computer equipment or telephone systems, in particular where this is due to network congestion
preventing access to the server.

6. Intellectual property and infringements

For personal data collected in connection with browsing the Website, contact enquiries, booking enquiries, bookings, payments, invoicing, welcome booklets and shops, the data controller is Indivision Domaine des Lameries, operated by the co-owners Julie CALBRY and Clément CASTELLANI.

Domaine des Lameries undertakes to comply with the applicable legal framework. It is responsible, in particular, for establishing the purposes of its data processing, for providing prospective and existing customers with comprehensive information on the processing of their personal data, and for maintaining, where necessary, a register of processing activities that accurately reflects the reality.

Whenever Domaine des Lameries processes personal data, it takes all reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the personal data in relation to the purposes for which it is processed.

  • Smoobu, for the booking engine and booking management;
  • Showplace, for welcome booklets and shops;
  • Stripe, for online payments;
  • PayPal, for online payments;
  • Google, in particular for reviews, the establishment listing, and any mapping or statistical services that may be used;
  • Instagram / Meta, in the event of interaction with the official account or embedded content;
  • Airbnb, in the event of a link to a listing, viewing reviews or making a booking via this platform;
  • advisers, chartered accountants, government departments or competent authorities where required by law.

9.6 Retention periods

Personal data is retained for a period proportionate to the purposes for which it is processed and in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

  • Contact details and enquiries: up to 36 months after the last exchange or the last contact initiated by the user.
  • Booking and customer relationship data: up to 36 months after the end of the active commercial relationship, unless there is a legal obligation or legitimate interest justifying a longer retention period.
  • Invoicing data and accounting records: for the statutory period applicable to accounting and tax obligations, which may be up to 10 years.
  • Payment data: for the period necessary to complete the transaction, provide proof of payment, and manage any claims, disputes or outstanding payments. Full credit card details are not retained by Domaine des Lameries.
  • Cookies and trackers subject to a limited duration: a maximum duration of 13 months for the cookies concerned, unless a shorter duration applies or consent is renewed where required by regulation.
  • Audience measurement data: duration limited to what is strictly necessary and, where CNIL rules apply, in accordance with the recommended durations for the tools concerned.
  • Technical logs and security data: retained for the period strictly necessary for the security of the Website, to provide evidence of an incident or to comply with a legal obligation.

At the end of the applicable retention periods, data is deleted, anonymised or archived where required by law or where its retention is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

9.9 Transfers outside the European Union

Certain service providers used by Domaine des Lameries, in particular payment platforms, review platforms, booking platforms, social media platforms or digital services, may be based outside the European Union or involve data transfers outside the European Union.
